Gotcha. I wish I'd done that for my first few, but I was stubborn and though I'd read enough info - c*cky might be a better word.
check out the forums at diyextensions.net and hairextensions101.com if you haven't already, I forget whether or not I've seen you over there. Seems like a lot of the ladies that formerly posted on here more regularlly haven't been as much, but still do quite a lot on those. There are a few who have had the same experience as you are right now who might be able to give you better advice than a red-head like me
Not, definitely not crazy about synthetic. This is my first experience and only because I heard how WONDERFUL it was as well as the color. I do love it but would absolutely prefer to find a high qauality human hair in the super pale color I love with a hand tied. Looks like the jetset is not so well rated in the 613 or 22 that I need though. AGH!!!!

Hmm interesting about the 614/613 - course I've never been blonde so I was only going on infrence anyway I suppose.
If you like synth, perhaps buying in bulk and trying to do the hand-tie yourself? there is an AWESOME video of the technique and it dosen't seem difficult (I plan on doing it myself shortly). Or perhaps buying bulk HH and getting the weft done by another company. I know EP does this (KristieM can tell you about the process, I belive it was her who just did this recently)

Oh my gosh, Malibu. I am SOOOOO excited. I have finagled with it all and have been so ready for something that "works" with my hair. I only got one today to see if I can handle it, and I really do love it. So much better than the strand by strand to me. Going back tomorrow for more. My weft is not huge by any means (Amm's thermofiber, mainly for week-long extensions), but for the long term I really want to find something hand-tied and good quality. The lady I am with is excellent in the sense of braiding, but I am not sure how accustomed she is to caucasian hair. I read of all these techniques of simply one braid with several different wefts and want to take them into her. any advice?

I have SEVERAL color rings. That is not the problem. The problem is finding the hand tied in the super pale colors. Incidentally, I have the 614 to actually be DARKER than the 613. Yes, it is minus the gold, and a bit more ash, but still a tone darker. Very familiar with the purple; use it practically every other day. Love it, but it saturates with certain hair more so than other so I would prefer to find the color I like with the small weft to avoid the purple/blonde look. Can anyone relate?

Having a difficult color to match (red), I've learned if you find a brand you like, or are really interested in, a color ring is invaluable (or a friend that has one and a digital camera ;) )
614 is the lightest color I have heard of, but its a lot harder to find than say 613 - if you're getting high quality HH wefts, you should be able to use a toner or a puple shampoo/conditioner to get the yellow out also fyi
Hey Guys!
I need some more expert advice from you guys. I have now gone sew-in and I LOVE IT so far (except for the current headache!) The only problem is the weft is a bit bulky. What is the absolute lightest pale blonde (NO gold!) hand tied weft? Any suggestions?
