Well I'm not the queen of curls but I curled a piece on a medium curl with the caruso steam setter.  The pic will resize smaller shortly photobucket takes a few.

that answers part of the question I just posted.  :)  did you install these/try this on hair that's installed already?  how long did the curl last?

I have augenmerk installed.  It's wearing nicely but it needs silicone (heavier) & either olive oil or coconut oil.  I know it's synth but needs moisture.  I wear mine straight.  I wanted to test it.  With the PH it's gone in 8 hours, this is just as curly as before.  The hair is finer the PH and not the unnatural shine but you have to be a bit gentler with the brush on it. 

I'm about to get in the jacuzzi tub so I'll let it hang in the bathroom and see how it does.

From what I've heard if you buy augenmerk in wavy it doesn't drop the curl

Wow, that's cool! It's amazing that the augenmerk wavy doesn't drop the curl, even when it gets wet??

I tested it tonight, If you finger comb it and use the dryer on medium it seems to hold its curl.
