lyris i saw your picture on another post when you were 16. you are very pretty! sorry for being nosey and you don't have to answer. how old are you? i was under the impression you were still in collage. i guess because you know so much about hair i thought maybe you studied it in college. i wil be 29 in june. everyone thinks i look a lot younger. the other day when i went with my husband to his work the guy my husband was working for thought i was 23. back in aug. was my 10 year reuion in high school. people couldn't believe i still look the same. i said it's because i use olay lol. i think it's also the fact i'm short. [i'm 4'11]
Thanks princess, you're sweet! I'm 22 now, just graduated from college in December where I studied public relations and Spanish. My dad's a chemist and I read everything I can get my hands on, so that's where the endless parade of semi-useless information comes from.
I agree, you DO look young! I've been working at a fairly large corporation since last April--I've always kept my age a secret here and tried to look older, since I am literally the youngest person in the entire headquarters building. But now I'm starting to get into that "what's my rush to look 35" mode. I'm not obsessing over it by any means but I've stopped trying to age myself. So good for you girl, keep using that Olay!:-)

thanks lyris for your reply i thought maybe i offended you. at first when people would say i looked really young i use to get mad. now with 30 almost around the corner and being married i don't care as much
LOL...it takes a lot more than saying I look young to offend me! (In fact, I offend my own sensibilities by persistantly watching American Idol each week.) I was on a plane last summer, sitting in the emergency exit row and a flight attendant asked if I were at least 15! And on the flip side, I've never been carded (!) Who knows!

i'm glad to hear i didn't offend you lyris i know what you mean! i have 3 stories that come to mind. this one was when i was in my early 20s. my mom and i went out to eat and they asked if i wanted a childs menu! then in 2001 my mom and i took the train to a concert and they price me a child ticket. that one wasn't so bad because i got to save money. my mom made me close my jacket because of my chest lol then this last sept. we moved into our house my mom was talking to one of our neighbors, thet were talking about which school my stepdaughter was going to. i came out and she ask me which high school i was going to! i said no i'm the wife and stepmom. like i said i know what you mean
