I was wondering if any one here has done a updo style on a guy?If so how did it look and do women like this style on a guy? I am thinking of haveing this done at a salon soon and would like some ideas as to what kind of updo I should go with.My hair is 28 inches long. I do wear it in braids,ponytails.buns.and i do get it curled at times.

Hi girl2b, I think you should go for it. My favorite updo is a Gibson Girl, but there also many other styles that are very flattering. You will look feminine though, by your name I assume that is what you are looking for. Life is too short, if that is wahr you want, do it. You will be surprised at the reactiion, if it comes out great you will get a lot of compliments.

Well if you are becoming a woman it is O.K. to have an updo but if you want to be a real man - forget it!! And too bad if no one likes my comment - it is just my opinion. I like long hair on a guy but not up in a bun.
