I currently have dark red hair, dyed with a level 4RC with a red intensifier on top of it. My natural color is a dark dark brown that has red undertones. I've been thinking about going blonde, what is the least damaging way to do this and get the lightest results possible with no yellow or orangey tones. The darkest I'd want is what Lindsay Lohan has currently but I'd prefer a lighter whiter color - think pin-up girls from the 1940s.

I know more than the basics of prof hair color, and yes I'm aware it will be damaging in some way, but I'm prepared to deal with that if I decide to do it. But NO I will not get it prof done, you don't need to make that suggestion if its the only advice you have to give. I'm not trying to sound snobby or cranky here, but I have better access to skilled people rather than a salon, who I will turn to later on.

TIA! :)

lots of bleach.....actually highlights weaved in would be best...and then toned...you are going to need to get from red to orange to pale blond and then tone...don't just throw dye on ur head u might end up pink or orange...go to a hairdresser you have all kinds of colors going on in ur hair...
