The latest news on the Amercican taliban that got caught, John Walker Lindh, shows him with no beard and closely
cut hair. It says that he had asked for this. Anyone understand his motivations? The hair may be understandable - it
was unkempt before - but didn`t he have the beard because taliban islam forces you to have one? Does he want to
make a good impression on the judge?
