Artec Magnifier

The product is brand spanking new and not really available in stores yet. ARTec sent me a sample with the press release and since I am not in need of volume for my hair I gave it to one of the HB.com testers (a man with fine hair) and he has been using it. So far he seems to like it but I have asked him to use it for a few weeks to see how it does on his hair. I promise to post the results.

Another HB.com regular tester is Michael K with thin, fine hair. He is super picky and has graduated from Aveda Blue Malva & Confixer to ARTec volume shampoo & gel and then to Matrix Amplify.

I had him try the latest Phyto VolumeMousse shampoo and the PhytoVolume Actif. Although he liked the Phyto, he LOVES the Matrix and I can`t get him to abandon the Amplify shampoo and gel. He does not like the Amplify Root Lifter though. Go figure. He refused to test the ARTec. He said that while he liked the other products, he knows he gets consistent results that he loves with Matrix and won`t test any more products for the short term. :-(

As an interesting note, he said that the PhytoVolume Actif is much better for root lift and fullness in his opinion than the Matrix. So that is fascinating to me.

I find personally that ARTec products are generally excellent but you are right to want to wait and see. I totally agree with you on that point.

While I love the ARTec smoothing shampoo and conditioner, the Moisture Pak and the Kiwi detangler, I have mixed opinions about some of the styling. I don`t dislike a single product that ARTec makes I just like some others much better. :-)

I will keep you posted as the testing progresses.
