maybe its jus how it is for him, his backside grows more then his front.

hmm its weird then. Because originally, when I started waves, my top was the first to get waves and were always the best for me. but now, the top middle whenever I start over is always weak while the corners top left and top right of my head come in the strongest. And I had the same problem with the thin thick. sometimes(when wolfing) id have barely visible waves on top n sides n on my back left side, these thick almost ugly nasty thick waves. like too thick. u can see in the photo, u cant really tell how far they come out fromhis head, but i bet if u could run ur hand over them, the back is way thicker. If u notice, his hair is dark in the back, and u can see scalp on top and side, and no, its not just the lighting.

I have the same prolem, and naw its not the cut because i havent got a cut in 6 weeks and my top has bigger deeper waves than the rest of my sidies and for me the top was the last section i got waves on.

i have the same probem aswell.
my sides are the shortest part of my hair but my barber cuts me evenly.
it may b bcoz it grows much slower than the rest of your hair

I Honestly believe the theory that their is diffrent textures throughout our hair. My hair on the back of my head feels bone straight at times whereas my waves on the top are extra curly.

 
 Also, in the past, when i got wtg cuts, it left parts of my hair uneven. Like, my sides were lighter then my top. Nothin Doo gro can't solve.

naw its not the cutting of the hair cause even while i was wolfing i had my sides with line type waves and my back with thick normal waves

itz cuz wen u cut ur own hair, it difficult to vut everythin equal..u may cut one area completely against da grain n another area on an angle against the grain...the parts of ya head dat ur longer or thicker show deeper thicker waves

I have this strange texture of my head
 
There seems to be a difference between my front sides and back sides
 
My back sides seem to be thick waves and my front waves are just thin lines
 
Here are pics:
 
 
 
I know theres a texture difference but it could be so different that my waves are linesConfused
