Embarrassed

I highlighted my short brown, (50% or more graying) hair about 3 months ago.  I called Clairol for the procedure to return it to a medium golden brown but my concern is I don't want it to turn out to have a lot of red in it.  What is the worst I can expect, so I'm not real surprised or upset at the outcome?
