Beads/Tubes/Rings/Screws

 

We have a new model that we are ramping up to do a beads/tubes/rings or whatever install on. We are also evaluating hair and have not decided exactly what type of hair we will be using.  The goal is to do this install in the next 2-3 weeks.

 

I have been asking tons of questions and any day the people I am asking are going to start hiding when they see me coming.    Until then, I am going to keep pumping them. 

 

One note, I am surprised that some of the places we have looked at hair do not have any accessories like tape or tubes.  I am also surprised that they do not always have the information we need.

 

Which brings me to my question. The new model has fine hair like Brigid's.  She is also highlighted blonde.  Is there any way to tell which of these various options are the best?  Are beads better than tubes or rings or screws or shrinks at holding the hair in place?

 

One of the hair brokers told me today on the phone that people are getting completely away from beads/tubes/rings etc.,  That surprised me.  I thought this was one of the more popular installs?  He said no that fusion was the most popular with pre-tipped being most popular. 

 

But we all know that pre-tipped also costs so much more than non-pretipped.

 

Some other store where we have bought hair told me that weaves were the most popular followed by tape.

 

Now I don't know what the heck to believe.  The same lady told me that the little screws will shred the natural hair.  UGH.  Can this be true?

 

Any feedback would be so greatly appreciated.

i do hairlocs all day long, all week long and none of my clients experience breakage.

silcone lined rings can be good, however, as with all installs fo anything you need to make sure that it is equal amount of natural hair for each strand that you are installing, sometimes the silcone rings cant get that much into them, depends on the diameter of each ring.

 

each broker that sells mosty fusion, will tell you that fusion is the way to go. That goes the same for what ever they mainly sell, thats just it, they want to sell you!

Far as rings go, yes the screw will shred the hair.

beads- same as hairlocs -sometimes called trumpets or extensheels

tubes same as hairlocs without the flared ends and not as wide, also called protubes or proshells

rings- they are usually wider and shorter, dont lay as flat as hairlocs

my advice is to get yourself a few of each kind and experiment.
