Alright so here is my one week update on my current install:

The Vapon tape (From Sally's): I figured after my last disaster of a takedown I would give it a fair chance...Umm yeah this tape royally blows! Sherrie told me that it was not for extended wear..boy was she right! So this is what the problem is with the tape:
When I place my wefts in the tape in I have to use my straightener to press down on the tape so that it seals the wefts in. Well apparently that seal does not last long. When I got my hair done last Monday, my weft fell out, which is alright...however, I realized that it had nothing to do with my hairdresser pulling too hard, it had to do with the sh*tty tape! You see what happens is as a few days pass, the adhesive on the inside (where the wefts are) loses its stickiness...and the wefts start slipping...so Saturday night I went ahead and showered and removed the one weft and went ahead to reapply it the same way...when I took the weft out, I noticed that the tape was not on the weft...well guess where it was??? STILL ON MY HEAD! Well I was running late for dinner, so I didn't bother taking that tape out, and just applied right on top of it...Yesterday morning I noticed some more pulling...it's pulling away again! I got to order some supertape...and do an application with the tape and LG...
However, I am trying to convince my hairdresser to practice her weaving and sewing so she can start doing sew-ins on me!

TT System: Well all of them with the exception of 2 are out...only because they were so well hidden that while I was ironing my hair on Saturday...I accidentally ironed the bonds...plus I think since it was my first time...the Tempbond wasn't hot enough...the bonds were too big...I didn't wait the entire 10 seconds for the bond to cure before forming it...So I will just continue experimenting until I get it juuuuuust right! Hopefully I will be able to play around with it sometime this week

Amm's Elite Remy: The hair is nice...It is a compleeeeeeeetely different animal than the Bohyme FR...its great that all I have to do is just run my straightener through it to get my hair to blend with it...however, it is tangling a bit more than I expected, and the ends are very dry...even though I got them cut...so Amm do you have any suggestions??? Also, I wanted to take a look at your bulk hair and I didn't really see any...do you have some?

So there is my review...hopefully the tape comes soon, so that I can get this crap out of my head!

sheeeesh! Sounds like no fun for you at all.
I'm confused....Do you flat iron your hair straight? You were wearing the
bohyme FR?? Isn't that really wavy? What's up?

How is the elite remy a different animal than the bohyme FR?

I think having wefts sewn in is so much easier than DIY. Hopefully one
day you will understand.whistling

Malibu, if I could afford it, I would love to get the wefts sewn in trust me!  I do like the DIY aspect of the TT system though...
Yes I did wear the FR and it was curly...I straightened it along with my own hair to wear it straight, and then I just put some curl cream in it to make it curly...my hair matched it well either way...

With Amm's hair, I find it to be more silky than the FR..although it has been rough around the ends lately (literally)...I have to put some coconut oil in it
to soften it up...it has a very slight wave...nothing like the FR...but I am much happier with it...it doesn't crawl up on me like the FR did.
