We should work on wave science advancements.  more people should be interested in experimenting.  To me the fact that people who been on here a REALLY REALLY long time and have tried the suggested solution "BRUSH A LOT" and still dont have perfect waves, and connection suggests there is more to it than brushing and duragging or there has got to be a way to improve besides that.

Right now are current solutions to problems
Noob434: Help my waves wont form on X Side
Member: Brush more

Noob434: Help connection is no good
Member: Soft brush

Noob434: Help!!! Crooked waves
Member: Comb
Wave Connection: Scalp yourself and start brushing at the correct angles.
(few examples of a different answer..)

We gotta put in work, yea?

Because of texture and other factors point dexter. Ceds been in the waves game since he was like 14 and he's 27 now. He's had time to work on it. Ced says the same thing as everyone else except he advocates pomade which some people don't like. Me personally I'm in love with pomade all over again but thats just me. Theres some credence to getting scalped to improve yourself. My waves look much better now since my scalping but at the same time I've seen people improve with a comb as well. The right side is generally considered the hardest side to wave up because it usually curls or doesn't curl more then the other sides. On some people there other sides do this and their right waves right up. These are all the truths of the game.

nah man yu gotta give ears to what christians sayn cus theres sense in it. i was thinkin the same thing the other day - can we all get the super consistent, super connected mega waves like ced's got or is it something unique like texture etc. that makes them so..something only a few of us (or 1 of us on this site) has? "can a softy really straighten out waves?.." is one of the questions thats been runnin through mi head lately cus it dnt make sense (maybe its my ingnorance i dnt know) and if so "why" and "how"...are we brushin to achieve sumthin we wont ever have and if so we should jus be happy wid wot we got and work on individuality rather than working to get waves exactly like a nex mans.....

Read the god damn post. Ceds been in the came since he was like 14 and hes 27 now. Sons been putting in work for years so of course his sh*t looks better. You guys start doing this for like 2 months and then want to question the fundamentals. Its like the NBA. You got to be able to pass, shoot, and dribble to get there. Dunking and faking on n****s is extra.

Lol n whatchu mean u guys start for 2 months, I been on here a lot longer than u bud, I mean maybe u spent more hours of ur life here but...

What Im sayin is real talk

You dont understand the fundamentals change.

To us, fundamentals are soft brushing, Moisturize and duragging.

I had an old barber and to him the pomade was the most important thing, with brushing and duragging.  He tried to say moisturizing isnt even necessary and they have no hold at all.

As we discover new things, the fundamentals change.

Im jus sayin stop regurgitating the same bs
"help me"
"BRUSH"

If that was it the why the f*** they need u to say it at all

@Chrstian that was at Hurikanhed or however you spell it. Not you. But yeah it used to be whatever corporate america told you was the truth. Want a long dick smoke cigarettes, wanna enjoy life suck dick, wanna save your marriage try anal, and wanna get waves use pomade. We've gotten past that. What we know is that a soft brush has been proven to straighten out waves time and time again. Moisturizers keep your scalp moist so it isn't flaking up. Durags hold your hair in place so your waves don't get moved in the wrong direction when sleeping/ hold your hair until you need to do what you do. Until someone is able to prove to me that a soft brush doesn't work or that moisturizing doesn't work or that durags don't work or that pomade doesn't work to a degree then I can see the need fro change. But its like water we know its chemical formula and its very unlikely to change. All the wolfing experiments and such are just us making soda and 720s are us changing the equation around. Also the reason we continue to regurgitate it to noobs is they don't read god damn previous posts.

hmm okay.. I could argue some of what you tried to set down, durags only hold it down and dont help in the forming?  Why dont most people have waves to the hairline without king cashing even if they brush to there?

And no, I want you to prove to me a soft does work to straighten.  Show me photo evidence of before/afters.  Even wave connec disagrees with you on this one.

If you honestly believe all the secrets to waves are already layed out and there is nothing to be learned, then there is no purpose for this messageboard, and no purpose for noobs to come here asking "the same old questions"

i do agree with Christians topic, but i am not willing to scalp myself for an expermient but i do agree to try minor things to see how much they help such as the mixing of different products for better hold or moisturization or different wolfing strategies.

Because it isn't held down by the durag
Proof that a softy works.
From when I joined after being in the wave game two months brushing only with a medium.

From about three weeks after being scalped only using a softy.

Also Wave Connec disagrees with me on everything. Doesn't mean much.
I didn;t say waves are defined like that. Hell we're still finding things out about water. I just know enough to know enough. I'm not a wave scientist from the Waveology Institute Of Technology. I'm just the guy who learned the stuff that works from the Vets.

So does a softy work if it doesn't move your hair (like the bristls don't touch the scalp)???
