Imhaving real problems with deciding what shampoo to use.ive got think hair prone to split ends and its quite dry and undernourised due to excessive straightening.any ideas what to try?and is it better to try more expencive stuff?

Emma,

Reconstructing conditioners can help.  Generally they're not cheap, but you're not looking for ordinary conditioning.  Are you still straightening your hair?  Cut back on the frequency?  Using a protector?  (just asking 'cause we have no details.)
