I don't think duragging at night isn't a must.I'd say since i started waving 10 months ago I slept about 7-12 days with a rag or wavecap on. Even when i wolfed for 9 weeks i didn't sleep with a rag.And still saw improvements. All in all, my opinion on durags at night is Dead

I have to agree with you Gvyll, but that is only when you hair is well trained. Mine is so trained that after i get out of a shower its still laid perfectly with only a couple strands stickin out weeks 1-5. That i feel like my hair is overtrained, if thats possible.

I still stand by the fact the king cash method develops your waves to your hairline proves the importance of duragging, not to mention Cedclark's use of the compression meth

You don't have to durag or wave cap everynight to have a good 360 pattern, once your waves are trained.  But, if you continue to neglect night time durag and wave cap usage, your 360's will lose defintion.

true... like a while back i had forgotten to du-rag like for like 5 days in a row... and i seen my overall wave definition going down... so i say you might could go once a week without du-raging but i wouldn't recommend it....

I'm not saying dont wear one at all.I meant at niight I dont think its a must.Cause on them wolfing days they help.

By the way I feel the same way about moisterizing.I haven't moisterized my hair since late July.Neither do I condition my hair in the shower I think all you need is a shampoo, pomade(or gel),durag, and a brush. But I think this is only after your wave pattern has been set.

i don't wear maybe the day of the cut (that night) but after that my hair looks all dry and junk and it get's frizzy quicker... and if u don't like conditioner then it's ur using the wrong kind or your don't know how to use it... man cause i do most of my brushing right out  da shower once i rinse out my conditioner... leaves my hair easier to manage...

The way I wrote made it seem "absurd."But the reason you think this is because your use to doing it this way.

My cousins in Africa use shampoo and grease (dax, pomade and others) and have the thickest, and healthiest hair. Some even just use soap and nothing else and their hair is descent.

Aren't you Nigerian? Thats West Africa.

West Africa = Sahara Desert

Sahara Desert = Dry hard to maintain land= dry hard to maintain hair

On the other side (literally) you have East Africa(Kenya to be exact of my family) is east

East Africa = Serengeti

Serengeti = fertile, rainy, moist land = easy to maintain moist hair
