QuoteReplyTopic: Hair Clippers Posted: November 11 2007 at 9:14pm
Wats up wavers I just got back on the wave game after having a mohawk for a while.( terrible thing to do if u have waves ) I want to know if any of you have any tips on some clippers to buy. I asked because now it seems like everyone cuts their own hair and im tired of my barber cutting my waves out, id rather do it myself if it has to be done. If any body has any tips on some good clippers help me out.

i've been in barber school for about 3 months now and the Andis Masters and the T-outliners are OKAY, but not the best IMO....my favorite is Wahl, 5 star series to be exact..the 5-star Seniors(clipper) and the 5-star razor edgers and the detailers (liners)...the 5star series is made for black peopLe...if u want to check them our go to www.wahlpro.com and if u are want to buy try www.atlantabarber.com the g-whiz they are some good liners also...extra small and u can wear it around your neck but it has the same power as the detailers just operates off of a battery but they are for good use on areas that are hard to reach and for mustache and beard trims but i use them on the kids

i just checked out those ones wahls 5 star series and they are pretty exspensive but by the sound of a real barber they are worth it. But what are the best wahl liners the razor edgers or the detailors and can u give me some tips on cutting my hair and how many other clippers imma need besides those clippers and liners you preferred

they are on there i just looked...the detailers are on the irst page( chrome nad burgandy) the razor edgers are on the second page ( red and black) and the g-whiz are right under the detailers...thats the same price u would pay or some masters..actually a lil cheaper i think the andis masters run about 70 80 bucks...if u wanna go a lil cheaper the magic clips on top of the 2nd page they are good also...if u wanna see some of the.....
my barber all he use is the wahl and i dont kno i u heard of black ice spray but the maker of that she use wahl clippers too..the seniors and the razor edgers to be exact check out her work

one thing i dont do is cut my own hair..my barber is just so sharp i dont mind paying 20 biLLs and he uses a actual razor to line me up but really all u need is one pair of clippers (seniors or magic clips) and if u want to go with just one liner i'd go with the razor edgers they dont get hot so fast and those andis masters and outliners get hot very quick...plus they are small and designed to it your hand better than other liners...as far as tips the only one good tip i can give you is when ever u line yourself up put a lil bit of talc power in palm and put the liners in your palm to get a lil talc power on em so when u edge yourself up it makes a chalk outline that way u can see where u are going and it keeps you from pushing your hairline back..u can see how close u are getting to your line w/o going back to far...my barber taught me that trick and ever since i been using it my line-up game has stepped up 10 times from before.........oh yeah get some of those g-whiz also..20 bucks u cant go wrong with em
Aw ok i seen them but are the whals seniors and the razor edger all i need or do i need more
thats all u need...but if u have 20 extra bucks get some gwhiz trust me they are worth it..just as powerful as the detailers and they have no cord and very small so u can manuver in the spots thats difficult for u to reach
