This is the hair from Indianhairexport, it is 18 inch in colors 24 and 14, this is the hair before I wash and condition it!  I will post some photos of it after I condition it!  I still waiting to see how the indonesian hair looks like, but so far I think the indian is really nice!

Thanks for posting the pics Saralee!

I got my hair yesterday and will post pics tomorrow (sorry for the delay. . .)

Anyway a few comments:

GOOD THINGS: I freakin' LOVE THIS HAIR, I mean love love love love it!! To me it is EXACTLY WHAT INDIAN 'TEMPLE' HAIR is all about: soft, somewhat fluffy, but VERY tame-able, lots of body, dries with an absolutely gorgeous little wave to it, can be straightened or curled, holds a gorgeous curl. I got the tipped hair and I love the glue. I installed 2 bundles this morning, and like Russian, it seems like a LOT of hair that I put in, but it was maybe a total of 1.5 oz.  Also they give the full 18", maybe a tad more, but it does need to be trimmed. I like the size of the tips too. They don't need to be cut in half. The hair:glue ratio is perfect (once you trim the end of the tip which is fairly standard).

BAD THINGS: Definitely not the 8 oz. they promised. I was supposed to get 4 oz. of each color and got *maybe* 3. Their "4 oz" pack consists of 4 bundles, each having 20 tips. Each bundle was .75 oz or less. As you know shipping was a bit confusing and expensive. Also they sent me one wrong color (I ordered #22 and #8, got #22 and #18). However I really like their #18. It's not too ashy. I'm actually wondering if they sent Saralee & me the same hair, just with different tags. ;-) Our colors were SOO close!

Re the Indonesian: I haven't had time to wash, play with, or do *anything* with it. Again - more info as soon as I do these things.

GENERAL CONSENSUS: SO FAR SO GOOD, notwithstanding the shipping delays etc. I would recommend putting together a group order to save on shipping. I am interested in trying more of their products. The hair feels *GREAT* to me, but again, we'll see how it wears. I have high hopes. Its behavior reminds me, at last, of the Great Lengths hair that I loved (but hated the prices and the difficulty of removing the bonds).

Here is a picture of the 18in Indonesian color number 8, I'm going to try to lighten this a level or two, it's too dark for me! But it feels fantanstic and is stunning!  I checked and My Indian hair had 25 tips per pack so finafina I thinked u got ripped off some tips, all together I think I have enough hair for at least 3 installs, but I hoping this hair will be reusable to re tip for a 2nd install!

Congratulations Ladies, Please post lots of pics of your hair washed and installed.
Have you guys decided whether or not you feel that the final cost per bundle after adding in the S&H costs still wound up being a good price or not?

saralee, you ladies could sell your Indonesian hair to offset your S&H costs. You may even end up making a profitThumbs%20Up.

Aw c'mon Ms Honey. . .you know us hair freaks better than that! SELL HAIR rather than let it sit in the drawer pissing off my husband?? No amount of money is worth that!!! Evil%20Smile

Oh yeah, and my Indian may have 25 tips per pack. I was so anxious to wash it and get it installed the room was spinning and I'm sure I miscounted, or didn't even bother to FINISH counting with all the hair distractions in the room. . .

Too many side effects. Your hair addiction will have to do. You're not going to have them send you the correct color? You may not get it until Christmas but you'll have hair you can use.

Well depends on the drugs. But I digress. My hair addiction continues unabated with no plans of ceasing. Now, regarding the hair they sent. I'm fairly sure they sent me & Saralee the same color. Hers was a "14" (which she ordered) and mine was LABELED "18" but it sure looks a lot like her "14", and was supposed to be "8", and oh heck, it looks good enough. My "darker" color varies anywhere between a 6 and 14 (depending on the coloring last done) so this 18 works! I'll post pics tomorrow. . .

I don't know though looking at it, the 14 looks alot lighter in person than on the photo, so you'll have to post see we can compare!

Well, that is some pretty hair.  I am loving those colors.....and, yes, Saralee, that is a great price.  Less than $20 an ounce including shipping is pretty incredible actually.

You mentioned that you will lighten the colour, remember that the hair in the bonds will stay dark, It might show in blond hair.

Sorry, still learning English

Hi Saralee,
Would you post a link for the Indonesian hair store. The hair looks beautiful. Not all my clients can afford Russian hair, this may be a nice alternative for them.
Do they offer virgin hair?
