Depends on the height of your hair, and which style you are going for. Both are around the dark cesear though.

I prefer a #2 wtg, but that might not be the best guard for you.  I'd suggest that you get a #2 wtg, first, and if you don't like it, get an 1.5 wtg, the next time.
