title comment depends on feedback.

I've been searching for this for a while, despite not finding a good enough image, it conveys my goal.

Color is not great due to resolution and source. If I had Pokemon 3 (I doubt I ever will) I would source the pic myself. But it goves you an idea.

When I mean grey, I mean decent, and vibrant, and dark, not near-blonde or near-white.

What about your visual goals ? (looks from a real person or animated :P )
I hate all of the following and lots more : Fundamentalists, racists, sexists, fascists, ageists (people saying seniors = senile , kids = stupid , 18 = immature or a combo of them), and bigots for causes yet to receive their own designation.

Ideally, the wolf-woman in Neil Jordan/Angela Carter's "Company of Wolves" film.
Couldn't find an image - sorry.

An approximation: Just imagine the hair longer (to the floor), wilder (jagged edges) with a salt & pepper colouring.

*(&^%$%^Drat. Can't get it to load.

Kintaro!! What a terrific topic!

It's easy for me to answer. Michelle Pfeiffer is my current hair idol. I saw the movie White Oleander recently, and while the book was SO MUCH BETTER, it was great to just sit there for 2 hours and admire Michelle's beautiful, healthy, long blond hair.

It looked better in the movie than in any stills I can find, but here's an idea:
http://us.imdb.com/EGallery?source=ss&group=0283139&photo=Ss/0283139/C180-24R_V2.jpg&path=gallery&path_key=0283139

And also... they cancelled Ally McBeal, which had been my favorite TV show... but Portia DeRossi!! I would LOVE to have her hair. I loved her character Nell as well.

Again, she looks much better on TV than in still photo. But here's some quick pics:
http://www.safesearching.com/2k/assets/photos/actress/portiaderossi//portiaderossi_cv_0199_us001.jpg

Most of the photos I found of her show a fair amount of frizz... which you can't see on TV. Sigh... I just need to hire a stylist to follow me around 24/7!

Now, when we start talking about pictures of what we would want to look like if we decided to get a haircut, then I'll start whipping out the pictures of Drew Barrymore! In Boys on the Side...

I'm currently a big fan of Kristin Kreuk's hair. She's the actress on the WB's Smallville. I just want it to get to that length!

I also like Zhang Ziyi's hair.

And since my hair is slightly wavy, I'm aiming for this.

Great picture, Jacqui! I was watching Practical Magic just last week and I was paying more attention to Sandra Bullock's hair than anything else. Her hair should have top billing for that movie!

Great topic BTW! It's got me thinking about my own hair goals.

That's why I made this thread. To say tailbone, but have it look like crap is not a goal, it's just a blind target, visualizing what you want specifically is a goal that is attainable if you put your energies toward achieving it.

I wonder though if Louise Marie can help me reach this specific goal. Most likely yes, but you don't find grey dyes (much less permanent ones) easily.

Very intensive.

681kb - SHI-LOW

That grey hue is a goal, depending on lighting, it could look more red like (485kb):

Ereki just looks insane. 551kb. But that may be a too light grey. It could always be adjusted.

(I want a hair tie like that though. I wonder where we can get some...)

Now that I think of it, either hue Shi-LOW has or the pokemon guy in the 1st post would do just dandy. Multiple inspiration leads to multiple confusion.

*pout*
I was hoping this thread would really take off. Come on! I want to see everyone's hair idols. What are you envisioning when you think of your hair goals?

I've already given two, but just for fun, I will also toss up Buttercup from The Princess Bride. Which like my 2 other gals, the still photos I can find don't do justice to how she looked in the movie.

http://www.art.com/asp/sp.asp?PD=10079781&RFID=633434

Robin Wright Penn has fabulous hair in all of her movies. Which is great, because she's a terrific actress. When I considered cutting my hair (!) I thought for awhile I might try to emulate her look in Message in a Bottle. Now THERE'S a great movie! Sigh...

C'mon everyone! Jump in here!

PS Would someone please tell me how you include the photo as part of your post, as Kintaro did at the start of the thread? Thanks!
