Hi! You can do this yourself. I do not think you can get to White Blonde but it has been done. ;) Decide what color you want to be now. This will determine how much color you remove. Please know that your hair will be very dry and porose (will suck up tints darker)after this. You will only be able to use a demi permanent color on your ends and use a regular 20 volume on your new growth. Demi color uses a 10 volume or lower. If you just want to be a medium color such as a level 6 brown, auburn, or dark blonde you can probably achieve those. Use Colorfix by Jherri Redding. You can buy this at Sally`s Beauty Store. You need to use this non bleaching tint remover first. It may take several applications followed by a clarifying shampoo and deep conditioner. Then bleach with 7th Stage bleach. There are more steps to this but since you didn`t say what color you want to end up with I can`t go on from here.
If you don`t know what you`re doing, or not too sure on products to you - I wouldn`t even risk doing it yourself.
I`d firstly, before even trying go and see someone at a salon.
Normally, they`d completely strip your hair - or use a high % of bleach to dye your hair. Especially if it`s Ebony Black. And then dye it the color you`re after.
I really wouldn`t attempt a `home job` as you might end up completely ruining your hair!
Hello, I have been dying my hair black for about 4 years now... I tried to bleach the black out the other night and not a damn thing happened, only thing that got bleached was my light brown roots... har har!
Well I was wondering what I could do/use to get the black dye out... or if there is some sort of "special" bleach I could use.
If anyone has a solution it would be greatly appreciated if shared.
