Yes,I agree.Simply because it looks as though the weight of her hair has made her start to bald a bit with her hairline.
With the cut,it is less noticeable.

She does look better with the fringe; obviously her hairline has receded from *taut* buns. It wasn't the length, but the stress, as is apparent in any length ballerina hair.
Sorry, but I think it's awful that people in her life persuaded her that the hair needed to be chopped. She could have had a little camouflaging layering done in the front, and kept as much length as she pleased. To me, she is a great looking woman who *should* have left the salon with most of her awesome tresses intact. I can't help thinking that this cut will leave this woman feeling inordinately sad in the near future. The radical length cut was pointless, IMO, esp. since it wasn't *her* idea. Cry Best, Bob

She looks very nice afterwards, I hope she is not too unhappy about her decision.

I do agree she looks so much better!

But, it always amazes me too, whenever a woman with long hair gets a make over they chop it off.

At least they didnt give her the tight curled to the head grandma do'.

I agree her family shouldnt have pressured her though.I didnt read the article before just looked at the pics. Why do people always gotta tell others what to do with their appearance?
I have the opposite problem. My mom always nags me when am I growing my hair longer (which I am) but it makes me not want to just to spite herteehee
