I'm a newbie when it comes to extensions so I'd appreciate all the help you can give me. My questions are:

- I am Asian but unlike typical asian hair, mine is very fine, thin & silky straight (I don't even have to brush my hair). What texture hair should I get that would stay straight after washing (European Remy tends to wave a little).

- What is Yaki Hair? Do you think this will match my hair type?

Thank you so much!
Tez

probably not....if you have fine, silky straight hair then yaki texture probably wont match well. Yaki texture is more like a relaxed textured hair. Someone correct me if I am wrong on this texture or give a better description.

Most straight hair will have at least a little bit of wave or bend when left to airdry but will straighten to bone straight by blowdrying or running a flatiron over it.

Sherri is right Yaki won't blend at all.  It is made to match a relaxed texture more so for African American hair.  Furthermore, it is not always a good match for AA hair either depending on how straight one's natural hair is.  For example, I am AA and Yaki usually has a little too much texture and crinkles in it for me.

I would say you should just go with Asian remy (virgin unprocessed).  I know you mentioned that your hair is fine but I think the most important thing is just to find a texture that will match the silkiness of your own.   This hair may work for you:  http://cgi.ebay.com/100-Chinese-Straight-Virgin-Remy-16-Hair-8oz_W0QQitemZ230189474884QQihZ013QQcategoryZ60188QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p1638.m118

I've sampled this hair its ultra silky.   Plus it's virgin so the cuticles are not ruffled from any chemicals or swelled up.  I hope this helps!
