Take the picture into the hairdressers and ask for the cut. Or describe it. The thing is, the way it's side combed like that, it's not going to just magically go like that after you get out of the shower. The style looks longer than yours is, as well, so you'll have to grow it out a bit. I can garantee that your friend doesn't wake up like that, but once you have the right cut and length, you should be able to side comb it (even blowdry it) that way, using a small amount of product (use wax or mousse, not gel) to keep the shape. Changing shampoo/conditioner won't necessarily help, unless it's one that improves silkiness/shine as the picture of your friend's hair seems quite shiny.

At the moment I would concentrate on growing it.

thanks for the help, but looking more as what can I do. I do take showers every morning, but want it to come out like the last picture without having to style it ( such as comming out of a pool with it still looking like this.)
What I am looking for is something to use (shampoo or conditioner?) and preferably a way that the hairdresser/barber can cut or style the hair the way I described. PLeASE HELP! Thanks!

The longer it gets the less it will stick up in the mornings.  If you don't want to do the whole shower in the mornings, you could just stick your head under the faucet and wet it and style it.

ok, so I'm a high school student and think my hair is o.k. I want it to be long, but whenever I wake up it is a mess. I cannot go anywhere unless I take a shower. So my questions are: is there any shampoo/conditioner to solve this? or How do I get it cut to look like the pic and not have to style it? I have to style/comb it when i get out of the shower. I would like to have my hair not need to be combed all the time and be the same when I wake up (for the most part.) It changes and looks awful. I currently use Suave for Men.

This first pic is of my hair after I comb it. Currently my hair is short (not like this) but its getting longer. I want my hair just to my eyebrows in the front and a little over the ears. (faces are blanked out on all pics)

This is what it looks like when I wake up.

this is what I want it to look like. This is a different person about my age. Thanks!

Thank you!
