How long can you relaxer stretch?

Relaxer stretching just never worked for me. I have to relax my hair every 8 weeks..if not my hair will start to break. I have tried to stretch for 12 weeks i lost a lot of hair. What is the longest that you have stretched and did you have breakage?

The longest I stretched was 12 weeks. Ok let me ask you some questions Do you moisturize you hair often? How often do you use a moisturizing DC? Do you air dry? Moisturzing is key to stretching.Big%20smile

The longest was 4 months. I had braids. After I took them out, I had a little breakage, but it's nothing a good salon can't fix. lol.
