I've read on another site of someone having a fruit based colour strip done on her hair to remove dark henna back to her natural blonde - however have yet to find a salon in the uk thats even heard of it!! Bleach based products are definately a no go - I have green & orange streaks to prove it!
Body art quality henna is permanent, the henna they sell at groceries and drug stores usually isn't.
The difference is that body art quality is pure henna (which is red, and people add other things/plants to it to get various shades). The ones in the boxes in the drug stores that are all different colors (and often say in the ingredients they are pure) are usually not pure. They contain metals. They often look duller on the hair than BAQ and fade away in 4-6 weeks. So, for this kind, maybe that metalex stuff would work. For BAQ, you just have to wait for it to grow out.
