I am a big fan of the Young and Restless. Nikki cut her hair short, few months ago while running for Senator on the show. Probably made her look more sophisticated. I think she looks great in short hair. But, it looks to me like she's letting it grow back out.

I know it's been years since Melody Scott Thomas (Nikki of "Young and the Restless") had long hair.
 
 
I don't remember it being shorter than it is these days:
