QuoteReplyTopic: Boars Hair brush = Static-y hair??? Posted: February 15 2008 at 1:23pm
Ok, so I am waiting anxiously to get my extensions on the 27th(patience is not my strong suit! LOL) and I grabbed a soft boars hair brush the other day at the store and every time I brush my hair with it, I get static- fly-aways like crazy! Holy Electricity Batman! Does anyone else have this issue and how do you deal with it? I normally use a bristled round brush but that catches on the links(when I had the 4 temp ones in) but dang, I could power a small house with this. LOL I am going to talk to Lisa(MetalGirl) about this when I get my extensions but in the mean time I don't want to make her crazy with questions. LOL Thanks in advance!
sometimes it can be the weather, like big temperature changes when you go in and out, sometimes it can be air conditioning too that cause hair to be static like that

Thank ladies! I have never had an issue with it until I started using that brush the other day. Heck, even when it is next day dirty(and I have oily hair) I still get the static-y thing from that brush. LOL
I also have not been running the heating or the A/C here(it is only in the low 50's-60's) so no big weather changes either. Funky, but then again, have never been accused of being normal! LOL
I don't know about the static thing. Just to let you know, I should be receiving your hair on Monday and I will start tipping your strands. So far there's no cancellagtions so you can have a sooner apointment. I'll keep you posted if something comes up.
Thanks Lisa! I haven't told anyone except my hubby, my sons and my neighbor and I will be heading up to my sisters house the first weekend of March for Bingo in Colusa and she is gonna freak! LOL She won't be the "sister with good hair" anymore. LOL
