QuoteReplyTopic: Hair Help!? Posted: February 29 2008 at 2:20pm
I did my first install w/ microlinks about 2 weeks ago, but im not entirely happy with them.. they hurt quite a bit for the first few days then they got itchy, and ive noticed on some, quite a few of my natural hairs were pulled from the root... not to mention, they have been falling out like crazy lately.. im too self concious to wear them down. I think the main problem was that i didnt use enough of my own hair inside the rings, the weight was too much.
Now im scared im going to be bald when i take them out! i want a better method to put in right away.. i was considering either sewn in wefts or using the protac tape method.. what Non-single-strand method would you prefer? does the tape method really hold up that well?
Ive seen tutorials for the protac tape method, but i cant find many on how to braid tracks for the sew in method. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

if you like the microrings idea, try using trumpets instead, they are longer and are made of copper. they do not hurt as much and if you get the right amount of hair in they feel great! They also lie flatter!
I know that lengthylocks4you.com has them! Im actually going to be doing a weft install with them shortly.
