How make my favourite coiffure

My hair are ten centimetres longer than my ears. Black with blonde-reddish sheens. I have them cut in a way that the upwords are shorter and I do the parting on the left. I want to make my coiffure just like Gillian Anderson `s-Scully `s on the movie of the X-files. What procedure to follow, how to brush during drying them? My biggest problem is that I can `t make them "open" around the face and they `re falling in it. i hope made you see the situation please, any advise?
