Ive been using murrays pomade (orange can), a med brush, and a doo rag. The waves look like they are really improving besides the sides cause they need to get way better but the top is all good. But when i put on the doo rag at night when i wake up the waves look bad as sh*t and hardly noticeable whats up???
Also should i switch to sportin waves? cause murrays is too thick.

First & foremost welcome to HB fam....are you new to the wave game? If you are I wouldn't recommend a pomade right now and also post some pics. You should use www.imageshack.us or www.photobucket.com to host them and post them over here.
And yea murrays is pretty thick unless your using murrays lite I think a moisturizer is all you need tho, OC, CC, etc (Olive Cream, Carrot Cream)

You can try the King Cash method for that problem: basically what that is is takin a durag and putting it on but dont tie it and then take a wavecap and put it over the durag and cover your ears as well.
