Hey everyone!

So I normally have a darkish dirty blonde hair color.  I dyed my hair at home using Ion Color Brilliance Creme Hair Color in Hi Lift Ash Blonde with a 30 developer.  I was told to add some unred drops to the mis to eliminate orange tones.  My hair came out pretty good but towards the roots they're still slightly orange.  I want to get as close to platinum as I can get.  Any suggestions?

I'm really new to all this.  The lady at sally's said that the color I bought already had a toner.  But I will try the blue based toner...any recommendations on which one?  how is a toner used?  Thank you and so sorry for the questions.
