Has anyone ordered wefts from Chinese vendor?  If so, were you satisfied with the quality, price, etc?

I've ordered wefts from 3 different  Chinese vendors.  Two of had so so hair, and last terrible matting hair.  The prices were good though, but the hair just wasn't up to par.

**nods in agreement**

I purchased Tony Zhang hair from a BHM member.. The price was REALLY right, so I tried it.. The hair was just so so.. I used it to make a wig, and I like it much better on the wig than I did when I wore this hair for one of my installs..

I'm still waiting for some skin wefts I ordered from wigsandclosures.com. I HOPE they are good, but I won't hold my breath. I had ordered one pack of skin wefts from another Chinese vendor and they sucked! haha. Then again, they were #60 white blonde. What I don't understand though, is isn't the wefts the same hair the vendors are using for their units and pieces? Some of them get such good reviews; hair wefts SHOULD be just as good?

Imagine my disappointment with Tony Zhang's wefted hair.. His units get RAVE reviews, and I have seen some of them up close and in person.. The wefted hair wasn't THAT bad.. I got LOTS of compliments on the install and the hair, but for me it wasn't as nice as my Wagmans or Extensions Plus hair.. It was missing that WOW factor for me.. However, as a wig, I find I like the hair MUCH better.. Maybe it's because I can take the wig off at night..

AngryLOL Oh Sorry to hear that Diva! Yeah, I just don't get it; disappointing. I know exactly what you mean about the WOW factor. It's what we're all looking for! Well, at least I know where to get some cheap hair to make wigs/hair pieces!!!LOL

Instead of hijacking this thread (starting a new topic in the middle of a different topic), you might find that you get more responses if you started a new thread posing your question.. You'll get more responses.. In the meantime you might wanna check out the Extensions 101 thread.. Good information there to get you started.. HTH

Hey Trip; Welcome! I would have to agree with DivaV; you will get more responses if you post separately. There is a ton of information here in old posts. I just began by reading all the old posts right up until the current date --- yeah, a lot of reading!! But, fun and educational for sure.
Love clip-ins and tape!
