OK, so I can't cook or do hair Unhappy

There I said it!  I am absent minded beyond belief.  When I cook, I usually forget about what I'm cooking until the smoke detector goes off.  Well guess what?  I was bleaching knots and totally forgot.  They bleached for 45 minutes

I rinsed the lf and no hair came out, so when it dries I will seal the knots again, buy the root touch up kit, recolor the roots, and attempt to bleach them again. Ouch

I scare myself sometimes.  If I wasn't a brown girl with dark hair, I would definatley be a blonde!LOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOL

Why are you gonna re-bleach them after the root touch up ?

I think they'll need it, but i'll see.  The last time the bleach seeped through and when I used the touch up kit, the knots were dark again. I will be super careful this time.  No more blonde moments....

LOL You're not the only one with the blonde moments.

I burned a bald spots in one of my units because in my infinite wisdom I thought it would be okay to leave the bleach in an area with a few stubborn knots longer than the rest of the unit. Needless to say....atomic....the bleach burned them knots right off in that area of the unit and I need to reventilate it if I'm ever gonna wear it again.

CG,

The flame was hysterical!  Yes, that's the kit I use.  It's super easy.  I put vaseline on the inside of the cap to keep the lace from dying and I only touch up the spots where I make a part.

hmmm......why vaseline. I never use it, IMO it is way to hard to get all off and my knots are bleached just great.

meechies you don't need vaseline unless your coloring the hair, not bleaching the knots b/c vaseline would prevent the knots from being bleach.. vaseline protects the knots if your trying to color the hair, so they won't get dyed darker again...
