I got all the supplies that I thought I needed to fix my lf.  After working for about an hour and a half, I managed to tie about 6 hairs on Unhappy

My back hurts from being hunched over and my eyes are tired!  I pmed a few members who have encouraged me that it would get better.

Boy is this hard work!

LOL  Don't trip girl I feel your pain. It took me a 1/2 hour to successfully tie my first knot. I was like..."dang, it looks so easy on the little YouTube video!" WTH ?!?! Ouch

The more you do it, the easier it will get. I'm gonna try to finish mine off when a good weekend marathon comes on.

You can find the lamps at JoAnn's Crafts and Fabric and at Michael's.

Whenever I order a wig, I request additional hair.

I tried to use the hair that I had thinned out of one wig to add temple are but I decided against it because I could not tell by looking which way the cuticle should go. So I gave up

Hey I want to jump on the ventilating band wagon too. I have to get a magnifying lamp first.

Maybe we could start a ventilating group. Keep in mind that it takes me fifteen minutes to tie one knot.

griff girl I feel your pain.  It does get easier but I must admit I have not practiced enough to say I am good at it.  I am still very slow.

Asia I think  I am going to pick me up one of those magnifying lamps/glass because I really think that will help.

I would love to learn how to ventilate.  Can I info on how to ventilate, supplies, etc in the newbie thread?  If not can you help a sista out with where I can learn how to do this and purchase the needed supplies.  A PM would be fine also.

Thanks DivasSmile

When I get home i will post the link to the youtube video.  I also have instruction, so pm me if you want them.  I think the key is the magnifying lamp.  For those of you who have them, how much did you pay for it?

I will learn how to do this hopefully this summer. Well with gas prices going up daily.  That may  cut down on my riding time and I can learn a new hobby.

I paid about $15.00 for mine. It has a light built into it and can be worn like a necklace so that both hands can stay free while you work.
