Ladies,

I know alot of you like BW, but have any of you tried to convert your KS to a Bodywave unit without loosing the KS texture?

I want a BW unit, but I do not like the Silky Str8 or yaki str8 hair.

I am going to put some medium size plaits in my hair tonite using some Wet and Wavy foam.. Being sure to plait at the root so I have a full wave all the way down. tie it up and let it marinate overnite!Wink

Now if I succeed at getting the wave I want, how would you suggest I keep it this way permanently?

Is it possible to perm and plait the hair for desired wave, or must I use rods? (Not good with rods)LOL

I will promise to take pics in the morning to share!

Even if Im a hot mess!LOLLOLLOL

Hurry up and post pics. I sometimes plait my hair and let it do the next morning. The only thing I put on the hair though is water. If you are going to add product remember to clarify once a month or you will eventually get tangles.

I plait my unit sometimes at night and even during the day when I work out.

Don't be disappointed if it looses the texture.  I added an apple perm to my kinky straight and the unit is now a light yaki bodywave.  I'm happy that it did go completely silky straight, but was disappointed that it lost the kinky texture.  I was going for a kinky curly/wavy.

I am so glad you have decided to try this out.  I love body wave units and I was going to try the same thing on a light yaki this weekend.  I can't wait until you post pictures.  hooray
