Oooh yeah I'm going to treat my self to lots of scalp pampering goodies...microsuede pillows...silk gloves that I can wear whilst feeling my own head...headscarves made of the finest cashmere....
OMG Geri !!!! I can't believe you finally did it! Well go on ahead witcha bad self I can only imagine how liberating that must be.
I never thought about how good that might feel against a cool pillow until DonnaB mentioned it. You should get yourself one of those microsuede pillow shams - you know the cotton ones that are made to feel like suede. They already feel good against the face so I can just imagine how good that might feel against a smooth scalp.

I have to be honest, it does itch at first. Especially if you don't use a new razor. But as long as I don't go more than a week I'm good. I also use Scalpacin and that cuts down on the itch.

Wow I might try a good old razor shave - I considered this but I wondered if it might get itchy? Does it tickle at all when its growing back? I'd hate to feel like I had lice! lol

Welcome to the club, JazzyG!! I have been balding for almost 4 years now and I can't stand it if I even see a shadow of hair on my scalp! Doesn't it feel great to lay your head on a cool pillowcase? When I started, I would shave the front and sides and my husband would get the back for me. Now it takes me five minutes in the shower with a 4 blade razor.
I ain't never going back
Oooh I haven't had the pleasure of lying my baldie on a cool pillow yet, but I'm certainly looking forward to it!!
You do yours with a normal razor rather than clippers then?
When I first started, I used the clippers to take it close to the scalp, but now I shave it once every five or six days with the razor. I prefer the razor because the clipper kept nicking me and I'd have little dings on my head. Plus I like to shave it in the shower cuz it's quicker

I told the girls on the other forum (I am unashamedly a forum whore!) so I'll share with you girls too - I finally decided to take the plunge and shave my hair off. I LOVE it, my head feels great! Woo
