what's the longest length extensions come in? my hair is probably four inches from my waist. I love the idea of extensions and super long hair and I am curious if it would be worth it for me to even look into them. would I get any length from them at all or just thickness?

Just curious, but if your hair is 4" from your WAIST why risk the damage to your real hair that is obviously capable of growing that long? (Not to mention the money..) Are you looking for thickness or just length? It sounds like you have some good genetics there if your hair even looks halfway decent at that length without breakage etc, so why not just up the Biotin content in your diet and wait it out a couple months? To answer your question though, I think it would depend a bit on the method you choose. The longest weft I have seen is 22" although I am sure it is possible to find longer since Naomi Cambell obviously wears lace fronts and wefts down to her rear. Hopefully someone else knows of a vendor or resource where they are available that long... :)
I have a vendor here (bought from him before and its great hair) and his wefts will go up to 27'-28'' and he will do custom longer! But we are talking a lot of money. If your hair naturally has no trouble achieving that length, you are better off continuing to grow it. Most of us would kill for hair that would grow that long on its own and that’s why we wear extensions
