Can anyone recommend a good conditioning treatment with protein for hair that has been bleached and stripped one too many times? :(
Sure, some good ones (IMO) are: Nexxus Emergencee, Grund Tiger Reconstructing Spray, Sebastian Penetraitt, Aphogee Treatment for Damaged Hair and Kerastase Vita Ciment.
Actually, there's more than these, but these are the ones that have worked for ME! HTH!!

Cookie, take it from me: you can definitely get bleached hair to 'look' healthy again and not break! I have highly bleached blonde hair (my natural is Level 2). My hair is in better shape now then it was when I was just colouring it. The trick is to do deep conditioning treatments (including protein) every week consistently.
There is an argument that damaged hair is damaged hair and there's no need to wait to bleach it. I kind of agree with this. You can't repair hair, but by giving it a bit of a break & conditioning it, you can get it better prepared to accept further chemicals.
If your hair is orange though, you definitely CAN bleach further. That's a sign that your hair is not bleached high enough.

Bleaching your hair or colouring your hair causes damage to the hair, however bleaching causes more damage, and the damage can be managed through using good conditioners. The only way to get the hair back to some normal state is to have it trimmed every 6 weeks, to help remove damaged processed hair.
Some say colour removers/strippers don't damage the hair, any chemical treatment you apply to the hair damages it in my opion.
Colour removal whither through bleach bath or a stripper will cause some damaged to the cuticle. There really is no difference between the 2, as they both remove colour pigment from your hair, however some say the stripper seems to be more gentle on the hair.
