I have had all sorts of colors through my hair ranging from blonde to black and all the in between, now i am back to blonde the first time i colored it back blonde i had to cut a lot of my hair off and ever since Ive been trying to grow it back long again. my hair is about 3 inches past my shoulders I only get my roots colored now and was wondering if i could grow healthy hair while keeping it blonde.

Yes of course,so long as you condition well and color roots only.My hair grew to be quite long and healthy when blond. It only got damaged when I kept going lighter and lighter and overlapping color.

I agree with that, do roots only, blonde doesn't really need to be touched up if its done with dye instead of toners (as toners fade, but the color should stay true if the last step was with a dye).

It also depends how dark your natural hair is.  If your natural hair is fairly black, you're going to need a lot of bleach and each time you do your roots, they will need to be bleached. You may not be able to grow it quite as long as if you had a color closer to your natural.  But if your natural color is dark blonde, you may even be able to get it to blonde with high lift dyes and not use bleach at all.  In that case, you can generally get pretty long hair if your dye is a darker shade than platinum (waist length at least).  Even with platinum, past the bra strap is still generally doable for natural dark blondes.  (Generally because it also depends on each hair's thickness - hair type - but I'm assuming medium here).
