I bought two Bohyme wefts from Ebonyline.com and I absolutely HATE them!! I have heard so much great stuff about this hair and I can't even wear it down or else I'll have a huge matted ratnest of hair behind the nape of my neck and it always feels really dry. I use really good products and a load of Biosilk before I blow dry/flat iron, etc and it doesn't help. I could blow dry and flat iron it...go make some toast..and come back and it would be obviously tangled in the back. I have been carrying a brush with me everywhere all month and I can't curl it or do any sort of style because I have to brush it basically ALL DAY LONG...erggggh.
Does anyone else have this problem with thier Bohyme? I just took it all out sent it to Bohyme to make sure that is it, in fact, authetic, but I'm afraid if it is, I don't know what hair to try next. It cost me $200 to sew them in and the hair was around $300. It hasnt even been a month and I took them out so thats $500 wasted. I'd rather spend the $1100 my GL cost me and not have to deal with this BS for 4 months.
Has anyone else had this problem with Bohyme? I LOVED my Great Lengths hair...never any tangles and always shiney and smooth and the texture matched my hair perfectly. Anyone know of any hair that would comparable that comes in wefts?

That's too bad :( I haven't had problems with my Silky Straight, but I buy most of it from Super Hair Factory (they ship quicker than Ebonyline)
But, please let us know if the Bohyme you have is NOT authentic from Ebonyline, their low price might be too good to be true.
Sorry about your experience. The Hair Boutique on Ebay has some really nice hair, its a little more the bohyme (the higher end stuff) but it doesn't tangle, at all.

I have been through the same experience a couple of years ago but it happend to me once only. A bad batch of bohyme is extremely rare. I have been wearing bohyme for a few years now and it is beautiful quality hair.
I have to say that Ebonyline is an extremely reputable company. I have ordered from them on many occasions and they are great.
I got my bad batch of bohyme from superhairfactory so go figure!....
I have one little question : have you done sew in before? Maybe you got too much put in as well?
I've used Bohyme for several years and only occasionally have I received a bad batch. It's bound to happen sometimes...
I just ordered from Bohyme from www.gobunnys.com and I have to say the blond color does get somewhat tangled toward the bottom. Not as bad as the behind the neck 'hair creep' that you describe, but I definately need to take a brush to it a few times during the day. Like I said, it's not bad, but it is a little more work than most of the other Bohyme that I've worn over the years.
In my last few hair purchases in the last year, I bought this Bohyme and then also hair from Jet Set. In this case, I have to say that the batch I bought from Jet Set has been the better hair. Jet Set is also hit and miss.
Mine was an #8 as well. I was even more suprised because I figured it would for sure be soft since it wasn't lifted to a high blond (therefore less processed) but not so. It's a matted mess.
Thanks for all the replys... :) I was totally looking forward to getting the hair and don't mind spending the money for good quality but just wanted to share my experience for anyone else that may be looking for the same thing I was, because I am disappointed.
I'll keep the board posted on what I hear from Bohyme/Ebonyline. :)

I'm really sorry to hear of your terrible experience --- that sucks when it's money down the drain!
Personally (and this is not a popular opinion), I think the medium brown to darker blonde hair wefts in most brands are overprocessed. This is not necessarily a bad thing. If you think about it, it has to be bleached at least to an level 8 or 9, so that it can be toned back down (another process) to the darker colour. THEN, it has be processed for texture (if not straight or natural). I've noticed any #8, #10s and even #18s I've tried tend to break more frequently than any blonde I've ever worn.
Anyway, I hope you find some beautiful hair you love -- it IS out there.
Sorry to hear this Mint. You are wearing a sew in right now correct? I think me and you got our first sew ins around the same time. I have not worn Bohyme yet but was thinking of giving it a try or perhaps mixing it with the virgin Russian to give a little more thickness and texture. I have also heard that the Bohyme silky straight can look very nice but it does have a courser feel to the touch. It might just have been that you were not used to it but I dont know. Also that matting doesnt sound right at the neck. It could have possibly been due to the placement of your wefts and not the hair itself but hard to know.
