I have heard this complaint from various stylist how more and more mothers are allowing their little girls to get "grown" hair styles. I have a few questions about this one : What is considered a "grown" hair style? Whats wrong with the child having her hair down in a straight parted on the side or in the middle style?Ive seen other children walking around like this(mostly of other races but yeah just parted in the middle nothing extra just straight down) Does this automatically make the child look older? I mean a 7 yr old with their hair parted down the middle still looks like a 7 yr old right? I remember hating those baby doll curl things when i was little but i also remember my mama saying i was too young to have my hair straight id always have to wear pigtails or babydoll curls. Is this a cultural thing? I dont know i dont have any kids can anyone explain please .

I just hate to see little kids with more weave than real hair and the parents refuse to take care of their real hair. I also saw one occasion where the mom's hair was fried, dyed and laid to the side and her kids she let their hair free-form lock because she refused to comb it anymore and these were cute kids. I was so pissed.
I don't mind straight styles, parts or braids just not 10 packs of weave in a 2 year old's head.
Me and you, your cousin and your momma too rollin on da strip on bow's
