hi everyone!! how are ya?

ok heres my dilemna... i'm using the tape - skin weft method. at first i was using glue (liquid gold) with the tape, but when i try to remove (with alcohol), i end up pulling out SO much hair....and believe me, i have SUCH thin hair, i dont even have a little to waste =(...and it hurt!!! haha

so....now that im using just the tape, and pretty much doing each piece as needed, i've noticed that when i remove the weft, to reattach closer to scalp, the hair underneath is SOOO ridiculously sticky AND all clumped together. i cant get it out w/ alcohol...or shampoo.

i dont know what to do?? so im just putting re-applying new tape to the sticky hair (which hides the problem, obviously). but i think its time to address!! I was wondering if this is common....does anyone have any suggestions??? plleeeease!

Thanks guys =)

You need a different remover, alcohol doesnt work well on LG or tape IMO.

I use professional acetone which works really good for me. Others prefer an oily remover. C-22 or Pure Citru-Spice are excellent removers and some people even use goo-gone (found in any store that sells household cleaners). Its always a good idea to have a few different types of remover on hand in case one isnt working you have another remover to try.

With acetone I find that I get very little sticky residue and any stickiness is removed with one of 2 shampoos. For others that use the googone they say that they spray the googone on the sticky residue and it dissolves it and washes out.
