Ladies, I have kept my hair natural for 2 years now, but I've been on and off with the whole hair weave thing to grow out my hair, and well, I actually like weaves, a lot. Soo...I need an alternative to relaxing my hair so it can blend in with my front hair better when I DO wear a weave. Is there ANY way of doing this without me having to do micro braids in the front, which is what I have been doing for the past year? I'm pretty sure my stylist doesn't do lace front weaves, and plus the lace front looks soooo pricey. What can I do with my front hair, or would I relax it again?!
I can't help with this question at all as I rarely wear weave. I am natural as well. You may want to pose this question in the lacefront section or check out www.blackhairmedia.com or www.longhaircareforum.com for more assistance.
I had micros for eight weeks and a week ago i got tree braids. When, these come out, I may flat iron my hair.
If you get curlier hair, you may be able to blend it without having to relax.

Well, when I decided to track my hair last New Years Eve, after not having a relaxer for about 8 months, I just broke out my trusty hot comb (electric of course) and pressed my hair straight. It worked so well that I would press my front edges when I wore my 3/4 wigs to help it blend. You don't have to press it everyday, if you tie your hair up at night and use Bees wax when you first press it it should hold for a day or so. Hopefully that'll help. But please be careful with that hot comb, it can do some damage. I have the scar to prove it
