This is very intriguing to me. But my biggest concern is the quality of their hair. Anyone have experience with it?
Please tell me about it....
Thanks

The Regal Remy Silky Straight is AWESOME! I've worn mine for 3+ months without any issues. Make sure to use a good non sulfate poo...that's true for any extensions.

I tried to color Regal Remy and it was a disaster. I think there is a mix of some kind in that hair.

What color was the hair originally? I read that there was an issue with a bad batch in one color late last year. Did you talk to the vendor about it? If I have a problem with a product I take it up with the vendor.
Most extension hair should not be excessively processed. It's not virgin so you don't need to process it as long.

There is no such a thing as a bad batch if you know what I mean. Vendor did not reply to my e-mail.

There is an 800 number on the website. You should call. I'd be irked if I got ignored!
And yes, there is such a thing as bad batches. I've been the victim of it a few times.

Hi cypresscrown, hope I can help! First, this seems nearly impossible. This company, and myself, personally respond to every single e-mail that comes through its system regardless of the significance of content or intent of sender. I also do everything I can to resolve anyone's disappointment with any of my products or system even if it can only be a sincere "I'm sorry, what can I do to help you next time?"
When I was first notified of your comment here, I though it was a bummer you didn't contact me directly. Because of that, I totally apologize that my first thought reading the statement above was, I don't believe you...but if by some possibility your e-mail on this matter ended up somewhere beside my in box, (I hear this does happen) please do send another so I can confirm the purchase and chat with ya. I think we can work on a resolution that may help to ease your disappointment in that processing result.
Although it is never the ideal to color an already processed product and because you can get a nice blend within a shade or 2 of your own color, since the RR has been color tested with fine results from others, you may get a nice result doing that, too. Now, because most of us are not colorists, unless we have the proper training we should not even do it.. If, in fact, you are needing to do some major color changes you should seek out a virgin hair product with no processing to it at all. Also, if coloring is attempted you want to do a SMALL sample first so you don't ruin a full piece of hair.. (test to find the least amount of processing needed to accomplish the desired result.)
My absolute sincere apologies for any problem you had, cypresscrown, and I truly look forward to hearing from you very soon!
PS studiogal.. thank you so much for your help with this thread. Ive chatted with the girl who started this topic and she said your response to her really helped her to do more research into the product. I hope it's as positive for her as well! Thanks so much for that!
