BEST Straightening Iron for Extensions Life

Does anyone recommend one or two options?

 I heard that the Sedu or Solia or good for hair and smooth better than any others.  They run $80 to just a little over  $100.

My CHI is about to end and is now pulling hairs so it is time to invest. 

Or does it even matter?

I can't give you a comparison between the Sedu and the Solia because I have only had the Solia, but what I can tell you is that I am absolutelyy IN LOVE WITH IT!!!
This iron is amazing, I have the Solia Tourmaline, have been using it every single day for about 2 years now. It's been around the world, it fell many many times and still works like a charm.
Best investment for my hair extensions hands down, on top of the list, way before any other hair products and treatments.
You can always order it from folica -love their website!- and if you're not happy, they'll exchange it or give you a refund, but to be honest, I doubt that you won't happy with it.
