Well, she got a great haircut, but not anything really different. The back was cut shorter , but i guess he could not convince her to go shorter on the sides.

Love the back...I also think the sides should be a little shorter, maybe an inch?..but it looks good. Lucky guy...my wife doesn't like that style and is growing hers out (about to the top of the shoulders...longest it has been in 10 years)

Thanks all for the nice words! Still hoping for a shorter version at the end of May for our summer vacation. Had a chat with her stylist who said she could do the shorter asymetrical cuts, and he LOVES doing those types of cuts - and he is damn good at doing them, ive see his work. I showed him these picks...
or even this
He tried to get her to do it last time, but she didnt want to rock the boat. So she said that after her volunteer job is over, she would consider doing it...i.e. end of May....I'll keep ya posted.

I agree, I would loose my mind if she went for #1 or #2. Her stylist said she could pull either of them off, but its up to her to...as he put it "let go of the sides" He is working on her, any suggestions on how I could work on it with her? I have been successful in getting her to get this short - which she loves - but the next step is a bit harder. Any suggestions would be helpful! Here are some other picks i found that I am going to show her, also, check out this video link. The video is exactly what I would love to see!
With a program like PhotoSuite it is pretty easy to do a virtual makeover. Have her slick her hair back - take a pic - download and save (make several copies). Then download the pic of what you like and cut out the hair - paste onto one of the copies and manipulate. This will show her how great she would look. You can do several angles of her ...

Ive tried that a few times, but i always have the issue of the photo of her head is disproportionate to the size of the head in the pick that i take the hair from. In other words, the hair that i drag over looks either like a moustache or a blanket on her head!
Any suggestions?
