Me again!!

Please can someone tell me how to achieve this look.

The front is pretty self explanatory but what's going on at the back to create the 'boofed' look? I imagine there's a whole lotta back-combing going on but does it start as a bun that gets flicked here and there?

Help would be appreciated as I simply LOVE it!
