Hi all! =)
I'm new here. I have (dyed) black hair with a few subtle red highlights and it has been that way for about 2 years now. Now, I'd really like a change.. I want to have a burgandy/auburn-y type base color with blonde highlights and possibly some dark brown lowlights also. I have a technique in mind, BUT I would like other's opinions also on how to do this? I do have hair color experience (no, not just from the box) and my mother did hair professionally and will be helping me, so if at all POSSIBLE I would like to avoid going to the salon considering the cost. I also would like to accomplish this during the course of one day, not over a span of several weeks although I do know lightening is damaging.
