Hi,
I have a quick question and please don't call me dumb, because I have thought about this and this even sounds dumb, but maybe I am not so dumb........
Anyway, what I need to know is, I have colored my hair from dark brown to blonde. I had to bleach my color out and put a blonde color on, I have been coloring my hair for about 6 months this way.
Well I have finally got the color I want, but I have a few roots in the front of my head where my widow's peak is and the dark brown is coming through, even though I just colored it last week, it is growing and I don't want to recolor my whole head again to cover this up. And there are no root touch up kits that are this color.
My question is, can I put some volume 20 developer on my hair in the one area for a couple of minutes and will it cover up that little piece of dark hair? I really don't want to go out and buy a $10.00 kit for a little area.
What is the best way to cover this up in the mean time before I do my color again?
Thanks

Not sure your Level of color or kit You used before but there are several different types (cheap) packets & cheap 10 vol or 20 vol (you have already). So you could foil that lil bit watching it carefully! & tone it the color you desire?

Developer is only an activator, you need a colour or bleach to use with a developer.
Using a developer on its own will only act as a pre soften, which means opening up the hairs cuticle to allow colour to penetrate into the inner part of the hair shaft ( the medulla), this method is used on people who have white resistant hair.
