Hi ladies,
I'm a hair extension addict, and I'm done with fusion, as I always had issues with fallout and it takes forever!! I've ordered some wefts, liquid gold and supertape, but not sure how to do it. I've heard that using both the LG and tape together, you get a longer hold. If I put the tape on the extension wefts, where do I put the LG? How long does the LG and/or supertape usually last for? Are there any kind of tips anyone could share? Thanks in advan
You can put the LG on your tape, after having put the weft in the tape. Make sure to try tape alone first, you might not need LG reinforcement.
LG + Tape do offer a very strong hold, it varies for every individuals though, anywhere between 4 to 8weeks or more. You don't want to keep that long though, it is better for the health of your own hair to to take down and redo after say 5-6 weeks.
Marie gave you goog links, you need to read a lot on these techniques, there's a ton of info out there, so grab a coffee and read as much as you can.
Tips, in a nutshell: clarifying shampoo before install is a must, when using tape, make sure to press well enough on your hair after application, do not put conditioner on the tape, wait a good 24h after install for your first shampoo is better.
