hi everyone. im relatively new here. just been enjoying all the interesting posts and valuable information. i was hoping you could give me an idea for what to do with my hair. ive been growing it out a while  now and im ready for a change. At least a cut, maybe even color ideas?

You appear to have an oval face which means that you can handle just about any haircut out there. I'm thinking it just depends on just how adventureous you are.

I wouldn't change the color too much...looks like you could go with an auburn color if you wanted.  I wouldn't go to blonde.  As for a cut...just about anything would work because you have a beautiful face.  You could go shorter like Eva Langoria did a while ago with a sleek bob or could go with more of a longer layered look, like Nicole Petallides of Fox news

It looks like your hair might have a reddish tint and I think that you should get a red hair glaze to bring out your natural highlights. I also think that you should keep your hair long and get face framing layers. Maybe something similar to actress Kate Mara's hair.
